Adrienne Lea Sinnott studied beauty therapy and completed the internationally recognised C.I.D.E.S.C.O accreditation with the highly respected Bronwyn Conroy of Grafton Street Dublin in 1988. Still as passionate about her chosen career now as she was back then, her 22 years of gaining experience in Beauty Therapy now ranges from a list to include: – Spa Manager on many of the worlds top cruise liners, to include Disney’s Grand Class Ships ‘Disney Wonder’ and ‘Disney Magic’. – Supervising newly built state of the art Health and Leisure Centres in the United States. – Teaching I.T.E.C accredited Diploma Course’s in Beauty Therapy. Working on the biggest stars in the celebrity world. Gaining invaluable experience in first class service in the worlds most exotic Spas. After 16 years of travelling the world, it was time to bring that experience back to Ireland. Adrienne’s returned to her mothers home town of Waterford. She and her husband Craig set their sights on a wonderful Art Deco inspired building on the Tramore Beach front, and after lengthy negotiations their vision became a reality, with her hand selected team of professional therapists, Bay Spa Tramore opened its doors and now inspires and showcases the best of Adrienne’s experience.
Kasia joined the Bay Spa team in March 2013 with seven years’ experience having previously worked at a 5* day spa at Marriott near Dublin before moving to Waterford to run her own salon where she made her name as a brow & lash perfectionist and real waxing expert! Kasia qualified from the renowned College of Beauty Sciences in Poznan, Poland with BSc in Cosmetology (NFQ Level 8) in 2006 and recently started the Post-grad certificate course in Podiatry (NFQ Level 8). On completion she will become qualified to diagnose and treat skin, soft-tissue and nail pathologies, perform specialised foot care treatments such as removing calluses, corns and warts; ingrown toe nail therapy (braces); comprehensive range of treatments for fungal and bacterial skin and nail infections; diabetic foot screening and foot care; gait analysis and prescription of orthotic insoles to provide customized support and alleviate weight bearing problems.
Hello, my name is Ingrid Barry, I grew up in the heart of Waterford city. I spent many years working in retail while raising my family which was very convenient for myself and my husband while our girls were young.
As they grew up and became teenagers I had more free time and realised I wanted to pursue a career in nail enhancements, specialising in acrylic extensions. I completed the ITEC diploma in nail technology with distinction attending college at the Beautrorium Training Academy in Waterford City and loved every minute of it.
I’ve always loved working with people and seeing people light up after their treatment, so I decided to enroll in many more beauty courses which I have completed as an ITEC beauty specialist. I am currently attaining my certificate to become a massage therapist and hoping to complete my training in advanced skincare.
Working with therapists who are dedicated to going above and beyond for their clients is an incredible experience at Bay Spa. Being a member of the Bay Spa team makes me proud.
Hi my name is Caoimhe. I’ve lived in Tramore my whole life and I’m the youngest of three, with two older brothers. I went to holy cross primary school and then went on to Stella Maris secondary school completing my leaving cert. Having left school I had no real idea of what I wanted to do and I decided to do a childcare course and soon enough realised it wasn’t for me. I then went on to work for a few years gaining experience before deciding to go on and complete a two year beauty therapy course in Waterford College of Further Education where I received my ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO qualifications. Few of my passions in life besides beauty include animals and music. I also come from a very musical background and love to play guitar in my spare time. My main passions are facials, massage and brow shaping and tinting but what I love most is all the different people you meet coming through the door and watching people leave with a smile on their face. The view from Bay Spa is breathtaking not to mention the attention and care that is given to you by each therapist who invest 100% in each treatment of each individual client. Hi, my name is Lorraine Motherway. I am one of the Beauty Therapists at Bay Spa Tramore. I have over 18 year experience in the Beauty & Spa industry at home and abroad. I’m both Complimentary & Beauty Therapy trained, having Certified as a Reflexologist, gained a Diploma in Aromatherapy, Diet & Nutrition, Stress management & Indian head massage. Whilst working for nearly 4 years in the beautiful setting of Bay Spa in the stunning Tramore I enjoy carrying out an array of treatments. I have a passion for Skincare and Holistic Therapies such as Reflexology and Massage Therapy. Brow design is a treatment I take great pride in perfecting and I have years of experience in specialised waxing. Customer care, attention to finer detail and making clients feel 100% at ease are some of my top priorities for treatment success. My name is Dena and I have the pleasure of being part of the Bay Spa team since we opened in May 2007. I studied beauty therapy in Waterford college of further education. I obtained ITEC, CIBTAC and the internationally recognised qualification in beauty therapy, CIDESCO. My initial foray into beauty was as a hobby, or so I thought. I was mum to my young daughter and I wanted to study something that I had been interested in for years. It sparked a love that has unwavered to the present day. I have a particular interest in holistic therapies. I am intrigued by the mind-body connection and how we can heal through the power of touch. I take the utmost pleasure in seeing my clients relax and unwind having taken some time for themselves albeit through massage, a facial or reflexology. I love to meet people and enjoy building a rapport with my clients. Through the years I have developed a fascination with the skin. I am particularly interested in treatments that have proven and long lasting results that can be achieved through non surgical and minimally invasive treatments. The beauty industry is constantly evolving and it’s exciting to be part of such a growing dynamic and industry.

Megan’s impressive portfolio includes working with Miss Ireland Teen Junior and Miss Ireland Teen Senior.
